Crysound CRY8124

Advanced handheld 200-microphone acoustic camera with optional thermal imaging module for remote detection of gas leaks, partial discharges and mechanical wear

All-in-One Handheld Acoustic Camera for Gas Leaks, Partial Discharges, Mechanical Wear, and Thermal Imaging

CRY8124 is a powerful handheld acoustic camera built for fast and accurate detection of gas leaks, partial discharges, and mechanical wear. Its compact, IP54-rated housing integrates a 200-channel MEMS microphone array and the fastest processor in its class. Powered by the advanced HyperVision algorithm, CRY8124 precisely locates ultrasound sources while filtering out background noise. With a detection range of up to 200 meters, it identifies leaks of any gas type, measures the rate of the leak, and estimates its financial impact. The device also detects and classifies partial discharges to help prevent electrical failures and pinpoints signs of mechanical wear such as bearing damage or friction-related issues. Optional infrared diagnostics enable real-time thermal and acoustic imaging, while the redesigned interface makes inspections faster and more intuitive. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity ensure smooth data sharing and system integration, making CRY8124 a smart, versatile tool for modern industrial maintenance.

How CRY8124 works

CRY8124 detects ultrasound produced by gas leaks, partial discharges and mechanical wear. Using a 200-channel microphone array and HyperVision algorithm, it accurately locates the source of the ultrasound while filtering out background noise. The device detects any gas type, measures leak rates, and estimates financial impact to support maintenance planning. It also finds and classifies partial discharges, identifies mechanical issues, and supports an external thermal imaging module for enhanced diagnostics.

Where CRY8124 applies

The CRY8124 is a versatile tool suitable for a wide range of industries. It can be used in oil and gas to locate leaks in pipelines and valves, in chemical plants to inspect systems with hazardous gases, and in power utilities to detect partial discharges in high-voltage equipment. It’s also useful in manufacturing and HVAC to find mechanical wear and measure the temperature of air and steam leaks. With the ability to detect gas, electrical, and mechanical issues, along with optional thermal diagnostics, CRY8124 offers an efficient and reliable solution for improving safety and maintaining equipment performance.
