How NORTEC 700 works

The NORTEC 700 uses eddy current technology to detect surface and near-surface discontinuities without damaging the inspected part.
An alternating current flowing through the probe coil generates a high-frequency magnetic field. When the probe is placed near a conductive material, the field induces eddy currents within the component. Discontinuities disrupt the flow of eddy currents, causing changes in the probe's electrical impedance. The NORTEC 700 captures and processes these changes in real time.
Intelligent presets
Application-specific presets automatically configure key parameters for the selected probe and inspection type.

Signal Acquisition and Processing

The NORTEC 700 uses advanced digital signal processing to deliver stable, high-resolution eddy current measurements in real time.
Real-Time Visualization
A bright and clear display provides immediate visual feedback for on-site adjustments during inspection.
Data Handling
Results can be stored, reviewed, and transferred for reporting and further analysis, supporting traceable quality control workflows.
