LMF G2

Remote laser methane detector designed to be mounted on UAVs. Created for fast and efficient inspections of gas pipelines and other methane infrastructure.

Mounted on copters and fixed wing drones

The LMF G2 is a high-performance remote laser methane detector engineered for integration with both fixed wing and multirotor UAVs. Capable of detecting methane leaks from distances of up to 100 meters, it is ideally suited for monitoring gas pipelines, compressor stations, methane storage facilities, and other critical infrastructure. LMF G2 ensures accurate leak detection even at flight speeds of up to 100 km/h.

Key features and advantages

Full automation
Detects faster than conventional methods
Methane-only sensitivity, no false reports
User-friendly software
Archives data for the entire period of operation
Automatic calibration and self-check during the operation

How LMF G2 works

LMF G2 utilize TDLAS technology

TDLAS (Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy) technology provides precise gas detection using a diode laser that emits light at a wavelength specific to the target gas. When the laser beam passes through the gas, a portion of the light with a specific wavelength is absorbed by the gas molecules. The LMF G2 sensor measures the reflected light and the gas concentration is calculated based on the amount of light absorbed.
